Summer Mixer 2019

Our YMF group joined forces with the Southern Nevada Branch and created a new event called the “Summer Mixer with Directors” with a goal to fund raise for our members. This event allowed engineers to meet and socialize with public works directors from City of Las Vegas, City of Henderson, City of North Las Vegas, Nevada Department of Transportation, Regional Transportation Commission, and Las Vegas Valley Water District. We had 110 people register for the event and we able to fund raise by selling tickets to enter and raffle tickets for prizes that local companies generously donated. Overall, it was great success and we received great feedback from attendees asking ASCE to hold it the next summer too.
