Fletcher Canyon Hike

The ASCE YMF hike to Fletcher canyon was a nice day spent outdoors with a dozen engineers of all experience levels. We arrived to the meetup spot at 10 am to enjoy the ideal weather in the forested park accompanied by dogs and children. The 4 mile round trip hike featured changing vegetation into the lush canyon where the stream was flowing at a higher level than normal peaking at the end where a waterfall of snow-melt spilled into pools. The group enjoyed conversations about their different companies, other YMF events, and their professional and personal connections. The hike was a valuable experience for those who attended to bond and experience the lovely nature right outside the Las Vegas valley.
