City of Henderson Technical Tour

On July 14 of 2021, ASCE Las Vegas YMF hosted a virtual technical tour with the participation of approximately 40 members. Bryan Mortensen, Water Operation Manager from City of Henderson gave a presentation about “Water Treatment in Southern Nevada” In the presentation Bryan discussed the different treatment processes City of Henderson WTP provides in addition to Lake Mead water demands and distribution. The presenter also explained what is reclaimed water and its different uses around the valley. The virtual tour ended with a Q&A and 3 gift cards of $20 each were raffled.
