2024 Younger Member Leadership Symposium (YMLS)

On August 2, Las Vegas YMF attended the Younger Member Leadership Symposium (YMLS) at the ASCE Headquarters in Reston, VA. YMLS is a 2 day workshop teaching Younger Members throughout ASCE leadership skills such as time and energy management, handling difficult conversations, and effective networking. The conference was also attended by ASCE Leadership so YMF was able to meet and get to know them. Our members were able to talk with other Young Member Groups to learn about what has been successful. The conference also included a tour of Washington DC, which was very exciting!
